Buddhism

Whilst Feng Shui is not a Buddhist practice, it originates from China where Buddhism is the main religion. The principles of Feng Shui have existed for thousands of years. It is a traditional Chinese concept linking the destiny of man to his environment – aiming to ensure that people live in harmony with their surroundings. The basic purpose of Feng Shui is to tap the beneficial Chi energy to the maximum, in order to disperse, disrupt, or remove obstructions to free the flow of Chi. Over time, it is inevitable that images of deities and symbols connected with Buddhism and other beliefs, including Taoism, Confucianism, and Vashtu Shastri are used to facilitate the movement and essence of chi which is the core of Feng Shui.

Owning these items does not mean that you are embracing the religion. Nevertheless, if one is uncomfortable with the religious connotation of certain Feng Shui items, please look for a more secular replacement. For instance, instead of Jhambala Wealth God, opt for other products from our huge selection of wealth enhancers. The prerequisite to good Feng Shui is that one must be at ease and in harmony with one’s surroundings which includes the choice of Feng Shui Items. Go for whatever makes you happy and you can’t go wrong!
