Each zodiac has designated a deity who will offer special attention and help to the particular zodiac to provide great power in clearing obstacles and inviting wealth from endless resources. The Rooster’s guardian deity is Acala whose miraculous energy helps eliminate disasters, lighten problems, attract good fortune and bring good health. No effort will be spared to look after the well-being of the Rooster who falls under his special protection and guardianship.
This is a lovely emblem of the deity Acala, alternatively Achala or Acalanatha in Sanskrit, (known in Chinese as Bu Dong Ming Wang, meaning Immovable Wisdom King). It is carved from pristine white coral which is considered magical in the realm of crystals and gemstones, associated with emotional healing and protection. Acala is a Buddhist deity who serves practitioners by defeating the obstacles and devils which hinder the road to enlightenment. As such, he is often depicted in wrathful manifestation surrounded by flames, holding a rope and a sword. The flames engulfing him burn away karmic ties, the sword slashes through ignorance and stabs at our inner demons whilst the rope is used to pull back those who have strayed from the path of righteousness. Despite his fearsome appearance, Acala’s nature is essentially one of compassion and he has vowed to be of service to all beings for eternity. His wisdom and unshakeable faith bode well for the Rooster who gets his special care and attention. As befitting the protector/charge relationship, the Rooster is shown in complete repose at the foot of Acala, calm and relaxed, knowing that he is being watched over by heavenly eyes.
If you are a Rooster (what is my Chinese zodiac?), make sure you enjoy the protection of your guardian deity by wearing or having the Acala Pendant near you at all times. You may also display the amulet in the South West or keep it together with personal belongings.
