Description
This is a handy pocket-sized carry-along talisman card to fit perfectly into your wallet or purse. It features the image of the great Tibetan guru Tsongkhapa with his two main disciples, Gyaltsab Je and Khedrup Jeon one side and a brief description of this great scholar on the other. Wearing a yellow Pandita hat, he is seated with both hands in Vyakhyana mudra and holding the stems of two lotuses that support the Sword of Wisdom and the scripture of the Perfection of Wisdom. Wafer-thin yet hardy, the metallic gold card is framed all around with motifs of the Buddhist swastika for an aesthetic reason as well as Feng Shui enhancement.
Lama Tsongkhapa, believed to be a manifestation of Manjushri, the Buddha of wisdom, was the great reformer and teacher who founded the Tibetan Gelug lineage of Tibetan Buddhism in the 14th century. Known in Tibet as Je Rimpoche, Tsongkhapa symbolizes the essence of the spiritual teacher. His main emphasis was on the need for proper training in sutra practices before advancing to the esoteric tantra. Being the embodiment of Manjushri, engaging in his practice will bring wisdom, the antidote to ignorance which is the root of all sufferings.
Carry the Tibetan Tsongkhapa Rimpoche Amulet Card with you everywhere you go to enjoy the blessings and protection of this great saint whose teachings will help ward off negativities and increase our merit, compassion, wisdom, and spiritual power.
